Corrections for April 11, 2014

A box labeled "top losers" that accompanied a story about municipal golf courses on Page B1 Friday contained an inaccurate list of courses with the highest losses in 2012. The three biggest losses were in Inver Grove Heights ($268,975), Anoka ($237,139) and Coon Rapids ($126,247).

A story on Page B1 Wednesday about Mayo Clinic's method of removing cancerous tumors should have stated that breast cancer is the No. 2 cause of cancer deaths in women after lung cancer, rather than the No. 2 cause of all deaths in women after lung cancer.

The dates for David Rosenberg's Spring and Summer Clothing Sale were listed incorrectly on Page E9 Thursday. The sale will be held from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. April 16-18 and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. April 19 at Hopkins Tech Center, 11111 Excelsior Blvd., Hopkins. 612-343-3221.

CLARIFICATION

A story on Page A1 Thursday about a 1,000-year-old dugout canoe at a Long Lake museum called it one of the oldest archaeological finds in the state. To clarify, there are older archaeological finds in Minnesota, but the canoe is one of the oldest watercraft finds.
