Correction for June 18, 2017

June 17, 2017 at 9:40PM

A story on B1 Sunday mischaracterized the cost of funding state and local government as a percentage of Minnesotans' personal income. The correct figure for 2016 is 15.7 percent, which is less than some years of the Pawlenty administration, but greater than other years. An accompanying graphic on B4 also contained several incorrect figures related to the price of government, which is projected to be 15.4 cents for every dollar in 2017, and was 15.7 percent in 2016, 15.6 percent in 2015, 15.8 percent in 2014 and 15.3 percent in 2013.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020.
