The Midwest will begin to cool off a bit later this weekend, following anoppressive day today. Temperatures today will press well into the 90s as farnorth as Illinois and Indiana, which is around 10 degrees warmer than normalfor these areas.A storm system passing through the region this weekend will usher cooler airin, allowing temperatures to drop off on Sunday. The temperature will drop offas much as 10 degrees in the southern parts of the region. The nose-dive intemperatures will last into Monday as cooler air continues to pour across theregion.
