Cook, Griffin, Kennedy getting early work

The band is gone!

An hour before the Vikings must declare their inactives, the Vikings three game-time decisions are working out in front of the strength and conditioning staff.

Cornerback Chris Cook and Cedric Griffin and defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy -- all who are trying to return from knee injuries -- are on the field doing some work to see if they are in good enough shape to be active for today's game against Miami.

Wide receiver Percy Harvin is not among those warming up right now, an indication that his bruised hip did not make him a game-time decision. Harvin said Friday he would be good to go, despite the fact coach Brad Childress said he would wait until Sunday before making a decision.

Update: I take it back. harvin is now out on the field doing some running drills under the watch of head athletic trainer Eric Sugarman. Looks as if Harvin is trying to do some cutting and seeing how that bruised hip feels.
