A construction worker who died Friday while working alone at a Plymouth job site has been identified as a 56-year-old man from Zimmerman, authorities said Saturday.

Larry W. Secord was found dead at an unfinished home in the 19000 block of 45th Avenue N., in a new residential development, about 4 p.m. Friday, according to police. Secord died from head and chest injuries suffered in a construction accident, according to an autopsy report from the Hennepin County medical examiner.

The exact nature of the accident remains unclear. Fellow workers found Secord and called 911, said Plymouth police Sgt. Shawn Grande.
