Three congressional candidates were endorsed today at political conventions held across Minnesota.

Democrats in Minnesota's Second Congressional District, Democrats endorsed former health care executive Angie Craig to battle for the seat of retiring Congressman John Kline. Republicans will meet to endorse a candidate for Congress next Saturday in Apple Valley.

Republicans endorsed Frank Drake, a commercial negotiator with Edina Reality, to run against Democratic Congressman Keith Ellison in Minnesota's Fifth Congressional District.

In Minnesota's Seventh Congressional District, Republicans endorsed retired United States Air Force combat veteran David Hughes to challenge Democratic Congressman Collin Peterson for re-election.
