Complain about traffic? Now you can do it in a public forum

April 30, 2011 at 12:23AM

For all of those Minnesotans who have sat behind the wheel and cursed the traffic, state transportation officials are poised to hear from everyone about how billions of taxpayer dollars should be spent on transportation in the next 50 years.

For several weeks this spring, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will host workshops around the state (scheduled after the evening rush hour) giving everyone the "opportunity to communicate their expectations for transportation today and for the next generation," said MnDOT Commissioner Tom Sorel.

The sessions run from 6:30 to 8:30 and begin May 16 in St. Cloud. Others will follow in Fergus Falls, Bemidji, Duluth, St. Paul, Mankato, Willmar and Rochester.
