Kyle Torfin had tried everything he could think of to get his one-of-a-kind Trek bicycle back from a painter who was supposed to return it months ago. I wrote about Kyle's situation in Sunday's column. Whistleblower often hears from people in similar situations. They know they can go to conciliation court, but that doesn't guarantee they'll get their property back.

Has this ever happened to you? Have you been successful at getting your property returned from a business?

Look for an update on Kyle's bike "Melanie" later this week.
