Chris Hardwick, who seems to be popping up everywhere these days, is carving out time in his busy schedule for shows in Minneapolis.

The host of Comedy Central's "@midnight With Chris Hardwick" and various debriefing series that follow AMC's biggest hits, will perform stand-up from Sept. 28-30 at Acme Comedy Co., a fairly intimate setting for a comic with such high name recognition.

Hardwick has a loose connection with the area; he is co-owner of PUNY Productions, an animation company that is partly based in the Twin Cities.

Tickets go on sale at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Call 612-338-6393 or visit acmecomedycompany.com.
