Two pickup trucks collided Wednesday night at a rural intersection in southeastern Minnesota, leaving one driver dead and four other people injured, authorities said Thursday.

The collision involving a Ford and a Chevy pickup occurred about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Roads 9 and 10, north of Dover and about 20 miles east of Rochester, the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said.

One of the pickups ran a stop sign, but the Sheriff's Office has not disclosed which vehicle caused the crash.

A female believed to be driving the Ford was killed after being thrown from the vehicle, the Sheriff's Office said. Three others in the Ford were hospitalized, as was the driver of the Chevy, the Sheriff's Office added.

The identities of drivers and passengers have not been released. Authorities also have not reported the seriousness of the survivors' injuries.
