St. Paul-area Republicans picked Teresa Collett as their best hope to defeat Rep. Betty McCollum in Fourth Congressional district this fall. Collett, who ran on a platform of fiscal responsibility, defeated Brad Lee for the nomination in one ballot. Lee has conceded.

McCollum also won her party's nomination over the weekend, officially kicking off her campaign to hang on to the seat she's held for a decade.
