Colleges put out the welcome mat

Sure, you could visit a private college anytime. But for one week each summer, the 17 schools of the Minnesota Private College Council will be expecting you.

During Minnesota Private College Week, colleges welcome high school students onto campuses around the state.

Here are the details:

WHEN

Next week, from Monday through Friday.

WHAT

The colleges and universities will hold information sessions twice daily -- at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tours and other events will also occur throughout the day.

Minneapolis: Augsburg College • Minneapolis College of Art and Design
