Parker, Vols end Duke's home streak NO. 2 TENNESSEE 67, NO. 9 DUKE 64: Candace Parker's leaner with 22 seconds remaining lifted the Vols (18-1) over the Blue Devils (15-5), ending Duke's 24-game home winning streak. Parker led the Lady Vols with 17 points and 12 rebounds, but briefly gave Duke hope with 3.4 seconds left when she missed the first of two free throws that would have iced it. But Abby Waner's 65-foot heave hit the rim at the buzzer.

Gaels stumble again • SAN DIEGO 63, NO. 21 SAINT MARY'S 55: Brandon Johnson had 25 points and Gyno Pomare 20 as they led the Toreros (11-11, 4-1 West Coast Conference) over the visiting Gaels (17-3, 4-1). It was the second time this season the Gaels lost their first game after moving into the Top 25.

NOTES

• Connecticut sophomore guards Jerome Dyson and Doug Wiggins were suspended from the team after they were ticketed by campus police last week for having alcohol in a car in a campus parking lot. Dyson is the team's second-leading scorer, averaging 14.3 points. Wiggins, a reserve, averaged 6.6 points.

• Missouri guard Stefhon Hannah remained hospitalized because of a broken jaw after a weekend brawl outside a nightclub. The Tigers' leading scorer is expected to miss at least four to six weeks.
