In order to get a major snowstorm, it's got to be good and cold first. We knowthat a storm is coming later this week, so will it be cold enough? The answeris, of course... Remember, this is February, which is often the snowiest monthof the year for the mid-Atlantic and New England.Today into Thursday, fresh cold air will spread over the Northeast, and thereit will sit. Later in the week, the arctic dome will be attacked by a southernstorm and all of its moisture. That means more heavy snow across themid-Atlantic. This storm may get a little farther north than the last one, andwill dump heavy snow up to central Pennsylvania.
