February 9, 2010 at 1:25PM

The weather will continue to dry out with plenty of time to spare before theNew Orleans Saints Super Bowl victory parade at 5 p.m., with partly cloudyskies expected. While it will be dry for the parade, it will be cold and windy.Following the passage of a cold front that brought rain to the region earlythis morning, the temperatures will fall throughout the day and winds will beincreasing to 15-25 mph. The high temperature of 59 degrees already occurredearly this morning. Temperature will fall into the mid-to-upper 40s by the timeof the parade.

The gusty wind will make it feel colder than actual temperatures, so peopleheading out to watch the parade and celebrate should definitely dress warm withlayers.

The winds may even become strong enough to cause trouble with floats in theparade.
