A cold rain will invade the East in earnest beginning late Sunday night andearly Monday. The wet weather will gain a foothold over Pennsylvania, Maryland,Delaware, New Jersey and much of New York, then will spread over northeasternNew York through the heart of New England on Monday night.Monday's impact for the rain-soaked East, first and foremost, will be theraw chill. Temperatures over a wide area will hover in the lower and middle 40swith winds reaching 20, 25 and even 30 mph out of the east and southeast. Itwill feel more like a day in the 30s.
