A shot of cold, damp air will reach the Pacific Northwest Monday. From here, it will invade much of the Intermountain West Tuesday through Wednesday. During this time, rain and snow will fall in an area spanning Idaho, eastern Oregon, central and western Montana, western Wyoming, northern Nevada and northern Utah.

Cities likely to have snow between late Tuesday and early Thursday will be Great Falls, Montana, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

For long-distance travelers, snow will weigh upon driving conditions over passes along I-15, I-80 and I-90, to name a few.
