We mentioned in the previous blog that Vikings defensive backs coach Joe Woods interviewed for the Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator position. It looks like he will remain on the Vikings staff.
Several media outlets, including Philly.com, reported on Wednesday that the Eagles have promoted their offensive line coach Juan Castillo to defensive coordinator.There were rumors when Vikings coach Leslie Frazier was hiring his staff that he might add Castillo in some capacity.
Woods has coached the Vikings defensive backs since 2006.
