Don't let summer's last screen door slam before checking out Michael Gaughan's "Buck Turbo" show, which wraps up its run too soon. One of those smart guys who just want to have fun, Gaughan set his mind a-roaming and let his pen and brush follow, with predictably amusing results. More than 20 of his parody watercolors lampoon everything from ads to Old Master paintings to advice columns. A comedian by temperament and an artist-illustrator by trade, Gaughan lobs some of his best jokes at serious art such as Piero Della Francesca's blunt-nosed portrait of Federico da Montefeltro, the Duke of Urbino, whose hat gets a modern makeover. Even Gaughan's chihuahua Toby gets a cameo role in a riff on Marcel Duchamp's "Nude Descending a Staircase." And there are sly jokes about everything from smart water and smartphones to hairdressers, beets, alligators and muscle cars. Seriously fun stuff. (Ends Sept. 9, free.
