Can't afford to replace the drafty weather-worn windows on your old house? "Repairing Old Windows" is a hands-on workshop showing how to fix original wooden windows, improve operation, boost energy efficiency and maintain architectural integrity. The Preservation Alliance of Minnesota program also gives an overview on topics such as drafts, glazing, sashes and broken glass. Captivating containers

Summer pots give patios and front entry steps pops of color all season long. Bachman's is holding Summer Container Design workshops in May and June to show how the "thriller, filler, spiller" formula can create a show-stopping container that will last all season using shade or sun-loving plants.
