Can't afford to replace the drafty weather-worn windows on your old house? "Repairing Old Windows" is a hands-on workshop showing how to fix original wooden windows, improve operation, boost energy efficiency and maintain architectural integrity. The Preservation Alliance of Minnesota program also gives an overview on topics such as drafts, glazing, sashes and broken glass. Mission meets modern
Find out how two different furniture styles — Mission and Midcentury Modern — can be compatible in home interiors. Mike Danial, Stickley corporate historian, will look at how Stickley Mission designs are having an unexpected effect on the trend in the revival of Midcentury Modern furniture. Bring your vintage Stickley pieces, or good-quality photos, to be evaluated.
