Viewers of "What Not to Wear" on TLC and the new talk show "The Chew" on ABC are accustomed to watching style guru Clinton Kelly dispense advice. Now everyone can benefit from his know-how at Perfect Fit by Clinton Kelly, a new tailor and consultation store (formerly Stitch It) at the Mall of America. Here's a sneak peak.
Q You're a regular at the Mall of America.
A Every time I'm there, I have such a great time. My fingers are crossed that Minnesotans will latch onto the idea of tailoring and fit. It's not like going to a dry cleaner -- a stylist will assess what's wrong.
Q What's an example?
A This jacket doesn't fit, but I don't know what to do with it. The sleeves are wide, and we can make them sleeker.
Q Why tailoring?
A Fit is incredibly important. You could wear a $5,000 Prada suit, and if it's too small, you're going to look like a stuffed sausage, and if it's too big, you'll look lumpy and grumpy. Anybody who has great style has a great tailor.
