Click: Uber expands to watercraft in Turkey

Uber, by land and sea

First, Uber changed the taxi cab industry. Is the water taxi industry next? Probably not. But the ride-sharing app, which lets users hail a car by the tap of a smartphone, introduced UberBOAT this week in Istanbul (to take passengers across the Bosporus strait). No word if UberBOAT will expand across the globe to other bodies of water. But wouldn't it be nice to skim across Lake Minnetonka without having to own your own boat?
