Hill-Murray airs it out in victory over North St. Paul HILL-MURRAY 27, NORTH ST. PAUL 7: The Pioneers jumped out to a 24-0 lead and never looked back in a victory over the Polars on Friday night in Classic Suburban Conference play. The rushing totals for the teams were fairly comparable, but it was in the air that the game was won, as the Pioneers threw for 153 yards compared to 3 for North St. Paul. Hill-Murray running back Dusty Krueger ran for two touchdowns, and quarterback Brennan LaFeber threw for one and chipped in a pair of field goals as well.
SIMLEY 20, TARTAN 15: Jake Short led the offensive attack for the Spartans, rushing 12 times for 135 yards, and Nick Wanzek added 17 carries for 97 yards in a come-from-behind victory over the Titans.

MONTICELLO 38, BUFFALO 23: Jake Olson ran 16 times for 212 yards (averaging 13.3 yards per carry) and three touchdowns for the Magic. Four Monticello points came off safeties, as the Bison twice had punt snaps go through the end zone. Buffalo scored 16 points in the fourth quarter.
North Suburban
SPRING LAKE PARK 16, BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S 0: It was all Panthers all evening as Spring Lake Park cruised to a shutout victory over the Red Knights. Spring Lake Park dominated the line of scrimmage, rushing for 256 yards (4.6 per carry) to Benilde-St. Margaret's 26 (1.2). Benilde-St. Margaret's tried to compensate by going to the air, but Spring Lake Park slowed that down with two interceptions. Jacob Ojile had 4 1/2 sacks for Spring Lake Park. Eli Ejiya rushed 18 times for 92 yards and accounted for the game's lone touchdown.

OSSEO 26, MAPLE GROVE 20: Osseo upended cross-city rival Maple Grove, dealing the Crimson its first loss of the young season.
Suburban East
STILLWATER 28, WHITE BEAR LAKE 19: Stillwater used a 21-point fourth quarter to upend conference rival White Bear Lake. The Ponies were propelled by three touchdown runs in the fourth quarter, with a 53-yard gallop by quarterback Nate Ricci sandwiched between a pair of TD runs by Nick Anderson. Ricci opened the scoring by throwing a 14-yard touchdown pass to Joey Quinn.

CONCORDIA 20, MINNEHAHA ACADEMY 17: The Beacons prevailed on the strength of a 14-point fourth quarter to come from behind on the road against the Redhawks. Baeza Tensaie accounted for two of Concordia's three second-half scores, scoring on runs of 2 and 10 yards. Minnehaha Academy jumped out to an early 10-point lead, as Alec Chamberlain scored from 4 yards out before Alex Katz connected for a 29-yard field goal.
NEW LIFE ACADEMY 41, ST. PAUL ACADEMY 14: New Life Academy's defense kept the Spartans off the board in the second half, while the offense kept piling on points. Matt Michaud ran in three scores.
