Class 6A football: State pairings set, Edina top seed

Edina is the top seed and will play Rosemount in the first game of the Class 6A football state quarterfinals to be held next Thursday and Friday at the Metrodome.

The Minnesota State High School League on Saturday posted these games:

Thursday, Nov. 8, 5 p.m. -- #1 Edina vs. Rosemount
Thursday, Nov. 8, 8 p.m. -- #4 Prior Lake v #5 Lakeville North
Friday, Nov. 9, 5 p.m. -- #2 Wayzata v Eastview
Friday, Nov. 9, 8 p.m. -- #3 Eden Prairie v Minnetonka

This is the first season for Class 6A, consisting of the 32 largest Minnesota high schools based on enrollment.
