Circle the date Feb. 28 -- that's when the new state forecast is due

Many expect the new forecast to show some, at least slight, improvement in the expected $6.2 billion Minnesota deficit

Just wait until Feb. 28.

That's when the next state forecast will be revealed and many are expecting it to show at least a slightly improved financial situation for Minnesota. The last forecast showed a bleak $6.2 billion deficit.
