'Chill' to the 'Charlie Brown' score

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" (1965) is a holiday favorite for many, not least because of the TV special's masterful soundtrack by jazz composer Vince Guaraldi. And now that smooth, eclectic score has inspired an entirely new Christmas tradition by Twin Cities choreographer Erinn Liebhard. Featuring six dancers and a live jazz quartet, Liebhard's "Chill" captures Guaraldi's whimsy, melancholy and understated enchantment with new dances as well as fresh takes on past choreographic works. A veteran of producing shows in bars and other social spaces, Liebhard welcomes all ages for this playfully heartwarming show. (2 p.m. Sat. & next Sat., Amsterdam Bar & Hall, 6 W. 6th St., St. Paul, $15-$17, free for kids, 612-285-3112 or amsterdambarandhall.com.)
