A child was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis this weekend with injuries suffered in a fall from a second-story window in Cambridge, in Isanti County, police said.

The child, whose name, gender and age were not released, fell from the window at 2441 Main St. S. at about 1:40 p.m. Saturday, Cambridge Police Chief Dave Pajnic said in a news release.

Police and ambulance personnel found the child on the ground below the window, Pajnic said. The child was rushed by helicopter to HCMC, where a condition report was unavailable Sunday.
