At their easy-to-remember-where-it's-located Lake & Irving (find it at Lake Street and Irving Avenue S. in Uptown), brothers Andrew and Chris Ikeda are cooking wide-ranging, reasonably priced menus from morning (weekend brunch, anyway) to late-night (1 a.m.). Meanwhile, the bar is shaking up classic cocktails and tapping an eclectic list of craft beers.

After an 18-month hiatus, the Mill City Cafe has a new home, a new name — the Mill Northeast — and a returning roster of greatest daily brunch hits. What's really new is dinner, with co-chefs Matt Kempf and Tommy Begnaud putting out one appealing dish after the next. Full bar.
