Cheap food: Restaurant

October 16, 2010 at 8:47PM

Tuesday is the night of nights at Victory 44 (2203 44th Av. N., Mpls., 612-588-2228, www. victory-44.com) -- at least for bargain hunters, because it's when chef Erick Harcey and his crew offer their ever-changing six-course tasting menu for $35, for two. Yep, a half-dozen small-plates courses, just $17.50 per person when it's purchased as a tandem set. Can't make it? Check out Thursdays, when Harcey knocks $1 off every item on the already affordable menu.
