NOT-SO-SPECIAL TEAMS

Beginning Dec. 13 with a 2-1 loss at Winnipeg, the Wild has only two victories in 16 games. A big reason has been the special teams, with a struggling penalty kill and even-weaker power play. A look at the issues in the 16-game stretch:

Wild's power play: 3-for-44 (6.8 percent)

Opponents' power play: 13-for-56 (23.2 percent)

Short-handed goals allowed by Wild: 2 (in other words, only one fewer than power-play goals the Wild has scored)

The changes come after rookie Danila Yurov was developing on a big-hitting line with Yakov Trenin and Marcus Foligno.
