• Miguel Sano was 6-for-15 with two doubles and a walk in his debut series and had a hit in all four games.

• Joe Mauer hit .500 (8-for-16) and had his first four-hit game since August 2013.

• Twins starting pitchers gave up six runs in 26 innings (2.08 ERA) but only had a 1-0 record to show for it.

• Ervin Santana had eight strikeouts Sunday. Only Camilo Pascual had more in his Twins debut (12 in 1961).
