The five most attractive (expensive) free-agent players on the market:

1. Robinson Cano, 2B

Probably won't get $30 million but could get Joe Mauer money.

2. Masahiro Tanaka, RHP

His posting fee alone could top $50 million.

3. Ervin Santana, RHP

Durable, dependable. That means upward of $15 million a season.

4. Brian McCann, C

All-around solid catcher will be coveted by many teams.

5. Shin-Soo Choo, OF

An absolute on-base machine and a table-setter.
