Top five free agents

Zack Greinke, RHP: Greinke opted out of the final three years — and $71 million — of his contract with the Dodgers on Wednesday. He should be the next pitcher to fetch a contract of more than $150 million.

David Price, LHP: Forget about his shaky postseason record. Price is a former Cy Young winner and a pitcher who can front a rotation and lead it to the playoffs.

Jordan Zimmermann, RHP: He's been generally durable and is a winning pitcher. That means someone is going to drop a lot of cash in his lap this offseason.

Jason Heyward, OF: Has yet to take his offense to the next level, but the man is only 26 years old. Teams will look at his splendid defense and bet big on his upside.

Chris Davis, 1B: He has hit 159 home runs over the past four seasons and added 66 points to his batting average from 2014.
