Power outage
The Wild finished the regular season with the best penalty kill in the NHL, but its power play was among the lowest-ranked in the league. That could spell trouble in the playoffs. In the past two postseasons, the Wild scored a total of five power-play goals on 55 chances, and its exits — in the second round in 2014 and the first round in 2013 — were hastened by the failure of its power play.
