The skinny: Had 19 points (9 goals, 10 assists) in 76 games for the Sharks last season, and added one assist in five playoff games. ... Has 73 points (30-43--73) in 280 career NHL games. ... Former collegiate player at Vermont was a fourth-round pick by the Sharks in 2004. ... Involved in the collision that resulted in Wild defenseman Kurtis Foster breaking a femur in March of 2008.
