With the Twins: .313 in three seasons, including career hit No. 3,000 in 1996.

As a Twins coach: On Tom Kelly's staff in 2000 and 2001; became Twins minor league baserunning/infield coach in 2005 and was on Ron Gardenhire's staff for the first time this year.

Hall of Fame: Elected in his first year of eligibility in 2004.
