Four state tournament records were set in the Class 2A quarterfinal game between New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva and Pequot Lakes.

She scored 53 points, breaking her record of 50 set in the Class 2A championship game in 2013. She needs 36 points to surpass Janet Karvonen's record of 329 points as the tournament's all-time career scoring leader. Karvonen set her record in four years, ending in 1980. Wagner, a senior, is in her third and final tournament. … The single-game state record in any game is 58, set by Kay Konerza of Lester Prairie in 1982.
