Chart: Five players the Twins could use
Matt Wieters, C: Would be a great move for the Twins, but it would cost them a first-round pick. And he's going to cash in as the top catcher on the free-agent market. And his agent is Scott Boras.
A.J. Pierzynski, C: Twins reportedly inquired about Pierzynski during the trade deadline and could revisit acquiring him this offseason. But Pierzynski, like Kurt Suzuki, doesn't throw out a lot of base-stealers.
Darren O'Day, RHP: The Twins need to upgrade their bullpen and O'Day is one of the best on the market. He'll receive a lot of interest.
Ryan Madson, RHP: Had a great bounce-back year with the Royals and could help solidify a bullpen that needs it.
Shawn Kelley, RHP: Reliever struck out 11.0 batters per nine innings this season for the Padres. That easily would lead Twins.
