FIVE ARMS TO WATCH
Injuries have knocked Sean Manaea down the list, but here are five other top pitching prospects for this year's draft:
Mark Appel, RH, Stanford
10-4, 2.12 ERA, 130 K, 23 BB, 106⅓ IP
The No. 8 overall pick last year returned for his senior year and didn't disappoint.
Jonathan Gray, RH, Oklahoma
9-2, 1.55 ERA, 127 K, 21 BB, 110 IP
Reportedly tested positive for unprescribed Adderall, but won't face suspension.
Kohl Stewart, RH, St. Pius X (Houston) HS
5-1, 0.18 ERA, 59 K, 40 IP
Recruited to play both football and baseball at Texas A&M.
Braden Shipley, RH, Nevada
7-3, 2.77 ERA, 102 K, 34 BB, 107⅓ IP
Hard thrower was the top prospect in the Alaska League last summer.

Had an inconsistent spring and might wind up being a closer.
