KNIFE? CHECK. SMART PHONE? CHECK.

Field dressing a deer?

Yes, there's an app for that.

Kerry Swendsen and Wendell Ball of the Twin Cities and their DeerDummy.com website recently have launched a smartphone application that shows in photos and text, and also video, how to field dress a deer.

Once downloaded, a phone signal is no longer needed to view the app.

Options are available for iPhones or Androids.

Cost is $3.99. Download from a phone or from www.deerdummy.com.
