The United States' men's and women's curling teams, with rosters dominated by Minnesotans, finished their Olympics on Monday, each adding a loss to a long-ago-lost cause. Details:

U.S. men

Monday: Switzerland 6, U.S. 3

Record: 2-7

U.S. women

Monday: South Korea 11, U.S. 2

Finish: 1-8

Women's look ahead

Canada (9-0) became the first women's team to go undefeated in the round robin at the Winter Games. The top four teams in the world rankings reached the semifinals.

Wednesday semifinals, 4 a.m.: Canada vs. Britain, Sweden vs. Switzerland in the semifinals.

Men's look ahead

China made an international breakthrough, beating Britain 6-5 in the last game of the round robin Monday to reach the semifinals.

Wednesday semifinals, 9 a.m.: China vs. Canada; Sweden will play the winner of a tiebreaker to be played Tuesday between Britain and Norway.
