The 2016 DNR roundtable is an invitation-only gathering of outdoors stakeholders highlighting the state's most pressing fish, wildlife and water resource issues.

When: All day Friday.

Where: Earle Brown Heritage Center, Brooklyn Center.

Who: Gov. Mark Dayton, DNR Commissioner Tom Landwehr, DNR staff, invited outdoors stakeholders, pro fisherman Tony Roach and others.

What: Reports, discussion, questions and answers.

Issues: Mille Lacs walleye crisis; 2015 deer harvest; deer management; pheasant plan; wild elk; nontoxic shot; proposed new muskie lakes; protecting aquatic habitat; invasive species; buffer mapping; fish management in Lake Superior, Leech and Red lakes; northern pike regulations; fishing technology.
