Thin Ice
Achiever Academy was on its way to a memorable year until eligibility questions derailed its teams. A look back:
• Both the girls' and boys' teams were having successful seasons, and the girls' team secured a top seed in its section.

• Days later, the boys' team removed as many as five players from the roster before the playoffs and failed to advance.
