Change doesn't appear imminent

Brad Childress remained coach of the Vikings on Sunday night.

While owner Zygi Wilf wasn't willing to address any questions involving Brad Childress after the Vikings' 31-3 loss to Green Bay at Mall of America Field, no coaching change appeared imminent as Sunday night turned into Monday morning.

As far as we know, no one has been put on alert that a move is going to be made to Leslie Frazier or any other coach. That isn't to say Wilf couldn't wake up Monday morning and decide to make a move but no one with the Vikings was expecting that to be the case as of midnight central.

The plan after Sunday's game was for Wilf to remain in the Twin Cities on Monday but it isn't unusual for him to stay in town after a home game instead of going right back to his home in New Jersey.
