Key stats: With 1,396 yards rushing and 16 TDs, Wisconsin RB John Clay was chosen Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year. Miami QB Jacory Harris threw for 3,164 yards and 23 TDs, though Badgers QB Scott Tolzien had a slightly better rating with 75 fewer attempts. Miami LB Darryl Sharpton led the Hurricanes with 91 tackles, powering a unit that gave up fewer than 120 yards rushing per game.

The skinny: The winner gets a 10-win season to build on going into next year. For the young Hurricanes, that could position them as favorites in the ACC.

Line: Miami by 3 1/2.
