Calvin Spencer had two goals, including the game-winner with 51 seconds left, to lead fourth-seeded Champlin Park to a 5-4 upset of top-seeded Blaine in the Class 2A, Section 5 semifinals Wednesday.

Ian Scheid scored two power play goals just nine seconds apart in the second period for Blaine to tie the score at 3-3, but the Rebels responded.

Champlin Park was outshot 47-19, but Rebels goaltender Tyler Nelson had 43 saves to keep them in contention before Spencer's winner.

The teams were familiar with each other. Blaine had won two games this year in dominating fashion -- a 7-0 victory in January and a 6-1 victory earlier this month.
