Cartoon "Noir" to become slightly less cartoony TV show

It's not a cartoon! It's anime!

Another realistic show with which we can all identify is headed for premium cable:

It will star the Kardashian sisters!

Just kidding. But I hope I didn't get them any ideas. More likely it will feature two up-and-coming actresses who will interpret "assassin" as "unsmiling." We rarely see happy-go-lucky professional assassins in movies these days. It's all business, business, business.

As for the mystery, it may or may not be revealed. Remember Flash Forward? Big long mystery story? Cancelled. Rubicon got the axe this week. "Noir" may have a longer run because it will probably have a huge amount of nudity, but it will probably disappoint that section of the anime fanbase who like these shows because the women look like 14-year old schoolgirls with guns.
