Caravan du Nord to return this fall

Mason Jennings, Haley Bonar, Tapes N' Tapes, Chastity Brown and other Current-flavored acts will perform in different corners of the state.

Your Legacy Amendment tax dollars (still) at work: The Minnesota Music Coalition and 89.3 the Current are bringing back Caravan du Nord, a fall concert program that brings Twin Cities musicians to other corners of the state. The "tour" will feature eight dates total, starting in Morris on Sept. 22 and ending at Red Wing's Sheldon Theatre on Nov. 17. Each show will be accompanied by a daytime workshop with the musicians. • Sept. 22: Edson Auditorium, U of M campus, Morris – Haley Bonar and Chastity Brown
• Sept. 29: Reif Center, Grand Rapids – Halloween, Alaska and Rogue Valley
• Oct. 4: Center for the Arts, Fergus Falls – Tapes n' Tapes and Zoo Animal
• Oct. 19 – Shattuck's St. Mary's, Faribault – Pert Near Sandstone and Charlie Parr
• Oct. 26 – Paramount Theatre, Austin – 4onthefloor and Me and My Arrow
• Nov. 10 – Paramount Theatre, St. Cloud – Jeremy Messersmith and Caroline Smith & the Good Night Sleeps
• Nov. 16 – Holmes Theatre, Detroit Lakes – Mason Jennings and Caroline Smith & the Good Night Sleeps
• Nov. 17 – Sheldon Theatre, Red Wing – Mason Jennings and Fort Wilson Riot
