A car and a westbound Green Line train collided just after noon Monday near the University of Minnesota, Metro Transit officials said.
Nobody appeared to be hurt in the crash which occurred at the intersection of University Avenue and SE. Ontario Street across from TCF Bank Stadium, said spokesman Howie Padilla.
Service has continued as trains are sharing a track through the area, but riders can expect short delays until full service is restored. That was expected by 12:30 p.m., Padilla said
