One person died Friday night in a one car crash on Interstate 35W at Diamond Lake Road. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
According to the State Patrol the victim was traveling in a southbound vehicle on the right side of the freeway when the vehicle attempted to exit to Hwy. 62. The patrol said the driver lost control of vehicle and collided with a guardrail.
The road was wet at the time of the crash at 10:24 p.m., the patrol said.
It was not clear whether the victim was the driver or a passenger. There were two in the car. The condition of the other individual was not known.
